Job Location: A variety of locations throughout North America. NY, PA, NJ, MA

Salary: $100/220K on target

Job Summary: The Systems Engineer (SE) provides pre-sales technical support to this company’s sales reps and customers covering all of the company’s family of products. The SE makes pre-sales calls on prospective clients, participates in local and regional seminars, and acts as the technical account manager for existing customers. This is a technical position supporting Sales.

Essential Functions:
The Systems Engineer (SE) provides pre-sales technical support to company sales reps and customers covering all of the company’s family of products.
The SE and SR work in tandem to formulate account strategies.
The SE makes pre-sales calls on prospective clients, participates in local and regional seminars, and acts as the technical account manager for existing customers.
The SE is the focal point for customer evaluations and demos.
The SE is expected to stay abreast of current industry technology, trends, and competition.

Requirements:
3-5 years of experience.
4 + years of industry experience
BS/BA in CS/EE highly desired
The SE must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.

The SE must be able to talk about technical subjects and deliver technical presentation to a wide array of audiences with both technical and non-technical backgrounds. The SE must be able to transfer knowledge to inexperienced customers and VAR’s.
