Product Marketing Manager-Web Security



LOCATION: CALIFORNIA

SALARY: $90,000

Position Statement:
This position is responsible for the sales and development of our client's wine portfolio of products to the retail channel of trade in designated local and nationally assigned accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Create and introduce company brand programs and strategies to national and regional retail chain accounts.
· Communicate and organize regional chain authorizations, pricing and promotions in conjunction with district and regional managers.
· Identify and target case goals by brand and retail chain account.
· Develop specific strategies to implement brand goals including analysis of how chain does business, and propose resource allocation for maximum depletion results.
· Responsible for finalizing proposals for chain pricing and promotions that crosses district or regional markets using guidelines developed by the Brand Directors.
· Call on national, regional chain accounts at headquarters and locally in conjunction with the director, retail national accounts, distributor managers or independently.
· Possess knowledge of products, wine industry, competitive markets, brands, and customers’ issues and typical needs.
· Assess and recommend schematic changes, SKU monitoring for authorized products with opportunity for new placements, displays, and feature promotions.

Education, Experience and Skills:
· A minimum of 4 years experience, preferably within the beverage/alcohol industry, and a minimum of 2 years directly working with local or national off premise chains.
· An accredited four-year college degree and/or equivalent work experience enabling the incumbent to perform job responsibilities as required.
· Good written communication skills. Incumbent must possess the ability to develop and provide all necessary written reports, business correspondence and presentations necessary to satisfy job requirements.
